With the rain forest right outside the backdoor, this recently refurbished 5 star hostel offers comfortable and modern accommodation. Accommodation comprises shared, double, twin (some with ensuite bathrooms) and family rooms. Facilities include a spacious fully equipped kitchen, TV lounge with Sky TV and free videos, open plan lounge/dining room with open fire, bike storage, drying room, pool table and sauna.

Flowing almost to sea level into the dense rainforests of Westland National Park, Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers are the fastest flowing and the only glaciers located alongside a temperate rainforest with ready access. Spend a day exploring with an experienced guide or take a helicopter flight with breathtaking views of the glaciers. Glow worms are only a short walk from the hostel too.

Wonderful self-guided walks right outside the hostel that will take from 30 minutes up to eight hours.

Located at the end of Cron St. an easy 2 min walk from the centre of town and visitor information centre.

Bus/Shuttle: Shuttle drops off and picks up at the doorstep. The Bus stop is only 200m.
