The Urban Age guesthouse is located in one of the best location in the city, Silom Street, which is the main central business street in Bangkok, balance with shops, restaurants and Nightlife. There are local and international banks, hospitals hotels and let's say... all you can find is here.

Hostel Directions

?The Urban Age,? privacy and warm hospitality, is located on Silom Soi 8 which is surrounded by trendy restaurants, shops, international banks, public transportation and nightlife. Soi means small street in Thai and we are just opposite the Bangkok Bank headquarter. You can simply spot a 24-hour convenient store 7-11. Less than a minute walk from 7-11, you will reach the oasis of our friendly hostel.

From the airport:
From Suvarnabhumi airport. There are three options.

1.) The easiest and quickest way to get to Silom Soi 8 is by taking taxi, available on the first floor of the terminal. Please ask the driver to turn on the meter cost should be around THB 250-300, express way THB 65 and taxi registration fee THB 50. If you are late arrival, taxi may refuse to turn on the meter which he may ask for THB 400-500. Airport Limousine is likely to cost around THB 800-900 per car. Ask the driver to drop you off in front of Silom Soi 8, walk into Soi 8 for 20 meters or 10 seconds and you will see a Mexican restaurant called El'Gordo with a green canopy, we are next to them!

2.) Take the Airport Express bus no. AE1. You have to go down to first floor and look for Airport Express bus Counter. Rate is THB 150 per person, so if two people traveling together take a taxi it is more or less the same price. The bus will go to Silom Road, please get off at Silom Soi 6 (in front of Bangkok Christian hospital). Then walk back to Silom Soi 8. When you arrive Silom Soi 8, walk into the Soi (small alley) for 20 meters or 5 seconds, you will see a Mexican restaurant called El'Gordo and we are next to them on the right.

3. )The cheapest way is to take the public bus no. 551 (not airport bus) with local Thai people. The bus departs at Level 2 of arrival passenger terminal. Cost of the bus is THB 35. As it is the public transportation, it provided a limited area for luggage. The bus will take you to Victory Monument, please get off there. Then take the sky train to Saladaeng station. Once you get off the sky-train, walk to Silom Soi 8. When you arrive Silom Soi 8, walk into the Soi (small alley) for 20 meters or 5 seconds, you will see a Mexican restaurant called El'Gordo and we are next to them on the right.

From the sky train: get off at Saladaeng station and walk pass Patpong (opposite California Fitness Center) and Bangkok Christian Hospital. Walking hours: around 5 minutes. When you arrive Silom Soi 8, walk into the Soi (small alley) for 20 meters or 5 seconds, you will see a Mexican restaurant called El'Gordo and we are next to them on the right.

From the underground: get off at Silom station, silom exit, walk pass Dusit Thani Hotel, follow Silom road until you spot Silom Soi 8, on your right hand side. Walking takes around 10 minutes.

From Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2): Take bus no. 77 from the bus terminal and get off in front of CP Tower, or take either sky train at Mochit station and get off at Saladaeng station. Then looking for Silom Soi 8. When you arrive Silom Soi 8, walk into the Soi (small alley) for 20 meters or 5 seconds, you will see a Mexican restaurant called El'Gordo and we are next to them on the right.

From Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai): Take bus no. 40 and get off at Hua Lum Pong Train Station, then take underground train and just 2 stops you will arrive Silom station. Get off at Silom station and walk into Silom road. Walk further and find Silom Soi 8. When you arrive at Silom Soi 8, walk into the Soi (small alley) for 20 meters or 5 seconds, you will see a Mexican restaurant called El'Gordo and we are next to them on the right.

From Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekamai): Simply take skytrain and get off at Saladaeng station. Walk further and find Silom Soi 8. When you arrive Silom Soi 8, walk into the Soi (small alley) for 20 meters or 5 seconds, you will see a Mexican restaurant called El'Gordo and we are next to them on the right.

From Hua Lump Pong Train Station: Easily take underground train and only 2 stops to Silom station.

Get off at Silom station and walk into Silom road. Walk further and find Silom Soi 8. When you arrive Silom Soi 8, walk into the Soi (small alley) for 20 meters or 5 seconds, you will see a Mexican restaurant called El'Gordo and we are next to them on the right.

From Kao Sarn road: Take bus no. 15 on Radchadamnoen road and get off at CP Tower. Across the street which you will find Bangkok Christian Hospital. Find Silom Soi 8. When you arrive Silom Soi 8, walk into the Soi (small alley) for 20 meters or 5 seconds, you will see a Mexican restaurant called El'Gordo and we are next to them on the right.

From any stations/public transports, look for Silom Soi 8 which is opposite Bangkok Bank Headquarter.
