Hostel Description
We are a small, friendly hostel close to the town centre and just a short stroll to the start of the world heritage listed walks.
At our hostel we are famous for our hospitality and warmth. You will find a relaxed mountain atmosphere ? a place to easily meet other travelers.
The house has a huge lounge room with a roaring log fire which is always on during winter. You can also sit out in the courtyard at the rear of the building and soak up the sun in the warmer months. Chill Out Hut, BBQ and lots more.
Free pick up from Train Station. Drop off to more difficult to access walks.
We offer colourful newly furnished double, twin and dorm rooms throughout. All rooms have heating. Share bathrooms.
We have FREE BREAKFAST, including Italian bread with jams and honey and a choice of cereals and of-course tea & coffee. Espresso coffee makers and free ground coffee.
Free musical instruments, including didgeridoos for your pleasure.
If you don't feel like cooking while in the mountains you can try some of the best coffee in the world in Katoomba. Katoomba is coffee crazy. So pop down to one of the many great cafes and chat with the locals.
If you need help with walks, we walk all the tracks regularly and can give you up to date information and drop offs to the more inaccessible walks. And if you want to go climbing, abseiling or mountain biking just ask.

Hostel Directions
We are situated 400 metres from Katoomba railway station.
By Train
When you get off the train, walk up the steps into town. At the top of the steps walk to your right, continue through the next roundabout we are another 200 metres past a large fruit and vegetable shop.
By Car
From Sydney turn left on Great Western Highway at traffic lights. Cross railway bridge and turn right at the roundabout. We are 300 meters from the roundabout(just past the fruit and vegetable shop).
By Train
When you get off the train, walk up the steps into town. At the top of the steps walk to your right, continue through the next roundabout we are another 200 metres past a large fruit and vegetable shop.
By Car
