Located in the city centre, we're close to everything which a backpacker could possibly need - bus stations, cheap eats, supermarkets, money changers, ATMs, post office, Tourism Office, places of interest, Gaya Street - the venue for the weekly Sunday market.

At The Beach Lodge, you'll feel right at home. You are free to watch a DVD film on those days you don't feel like going out. You'll have free run of the kitchen where you can serve yourself free coffee or tea any time of the day and toast and jam for breakfast.

Cute little guesthouse with friendly staff, if a little laid back (prime example of laid back attitude is second-in-command Razak!) Only has a handful of double rooms, all with share hot water showers, so need to book ahead about a week in advance. Also two 8 bed dorms available. Breakfast included. Lots of tour info and little breakfast/lounge area. Very clean with tiled floors.
