Hostel Description
The Hotel St.Moritz is centrally located in not far from several commercial centers, and ideally positioned both for the business person as for the vacationer. All places in town are easily reached by car or taxi, the Ayala Business Park, with its huge shopping mall, even on foot in a few minutes.
The hotel consists of some twenty rooms in various sizes, all fully equipped with air conditioners, mini bar, cable TV and telephone, further details can be found on the page "ROOMS".
A cozy restaurant and the al fresco patio "L'Oasis Garden" invite you for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a snack or a drink, with a wide selection of both local and international dishes. At noon and in the evening, a set menu, with a selection of entrees and main courses is on offer.
The adjacent pub helps you to unwind after a stressing business day or after a day spent at the beach or on the greens.

The Hotel St.Moritz consists of some 20 rooms, in three categories: De Luxe Single, De Luxe Twin and suite.
All rooms have been remodeled, they have been rendered more bright and friendly. On the ground floor, all the rooms now have a tiled floor, by far brighter and friendlier. The next phase will consist in the rebuilding of the bathrooms, with state-of-the-art faucets and illumination.
Most of the rooms are in the first category, with the following amenities:
- Air conditioner
- Large refrigerator
- Cable TV with a large variety of channels, including CNN
- Direct-dial telephone for calls within the province
- Personal safety deposit box
- Internet connection sockets in several rooms
The De Luxe Single rooms consist of a living area, which accommodates one sofa and armchair with a small table, a dining table and the refrigerator. The sleeping quarters, separated by a bookshelf from the living area, with several drawers, the safety deposit box and the TV set on a swivel, houses the large king size bed, the make-up table and the clothes cabinet. A generous shower with hot and cold water and the toilet complement the room.
The De Luxe Twin rooms, all located on the first floor, offer more space, some with separate beds, and ensuring more privacy, still with the same amenities as in the standard rooms.
The single suite consists of two separate rooms, one bedroom and the living room, rather then just being divided by a bookshelf. There again, the suite is on the first floor, in the quietest spot of the hotel.

Starting from Cebu, several activities can be undertaken. All around Cebu there are magnificent diving spots, beaches and golf courses. Most can be reached on a day-trip, others require more time. Some of the beach resorts on Mactan have all the necessary diving equipment, inclusive of qualified instructors. For those who wish to take a complete course, with final qualification (PADI certified), there are several places, which can be reached in a short time.
Cebu also has several golf courses, with varying degrees of difficulty and distance from the hotel.

Hostel Directions
The island of Cebu, one of the major of the 7'107 islands of the archipelago, can easily be reached by plane, via Manila or Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Japan. The international airport is situated on the island of Mactan, connected by 2 bridges to the main island of Cebu. The trip from the airport to the hotel takes approximately 30 minutes, strongly depending upon traffic congestions (very frequent during peak hours). There are lots of taxis around the arrival area; the best bet is still a rental car, driven by a local driver. Several booths are located just near the exit from the arrival area. Currently the fare should be around P 250.-- to a maximum of P 300.-- (as of November, 2005).
Other ways to reach Cebu is via ferryboats or fast ferries, arriving at the harbor area. From there, the trip is a mere 10 minutes to the hotel. The larger ferries arrive both from Luzon (the main island) and from other major islands; the fast ferries service connect the minor islands all around Cebu.
