If you want to stay in a clean, comfortable hotel with helpful friendly staff, then this is the hotel to choose. The Sports hotel is on a fairly quiet street in the tourist district. Our spacious room had a balcony with views of the river and the city. We were lucky enough to receive the occasional gift of fruit or a flower in our room after a hard day on the tourist trail. I cannot recommend the staff highly enough - nothing was too much trouble, they speak really good English and they epitomize that gentle, sweet good humour that is the style of the Vietnamese people. They really made our stay in Hue.

We stayed in Hue for two nights at the Sports Hotel. We loved Hue, and our trip was made perfect because of the wonderful people who work at the Sports Hotel. They helped us with directions, renting bicycles, booking tours to the DMZ, finding boats for the Perfume River, arranging a bus ride to Hoi An, and finding us a hotel in Hoi An as well. They were extremely helpful and friendly. A joy to come back to each evening. We have loved our stay in Vietnam ane especially in Hue.

From Hue station: go along Le Loi Str(about 5 minute walking) then turn right to Pham Ngu Lao Str and you see Sports hotel.
