Off the west coast of Koh Chang is a small group of islands delightfully visible especially from Kai Bae Beach. These included Koh Yuak which has a small beach front of sand formed from decayed coral, the water clean and shallow qualifying its as a good snorkeling spot.
From the shore over Sea View Resort & Spa Koh Chang, the islands form a picturesque view especially during sunset next to Koh Yuak is Koh Plee and Koh Suwan, both of them have rocky shores. Around the area of Koh Suwan is an unnamed isle which is found to harbor colorful coral about 6 meters deep. Locals call this Koh Rom which means Umbrella Island because of an outstanding beautiful big tree with an umbrella share. This is a newfound snorkeling site.
Further down south is Koh Man-Nai which is directly facing the shore of Sea View Resort & Spa Koh Chang. The water between the resort and Koh Man-Nai is quite shallow. During the low tide when island bare its loves sandy beach one can actually walk across the sea from the resort to Koh Man-Nai.
Another island is so called Koh Man-Nok, looks as its behind Koh Suwan. It is the Twin Island to Koh Man-Nai and is linked together by shallows with plentiful of gold-colored seaweed.

Hostel Directions
Sea View Resort & Spa Koh Chang is located on the island of Koh Chang, near the viewpoint on the southern end of Kai Bae Beach. The resort situates majestically on a cliff that descends to its private beach of clear water. The beach area is large enough to cater for beach parties even more athletic activities.
Transportation
By Bus
Both air and non-air-conditioned (orange ones) buses depart from The Ekamai Bus Terminal and The Northern Bus Terminal (New Morchid) to Trat many times daily.
Alternatively, the visitors can take minibus and full sized bus service pick up from Khao Sarn road. This service can be booked by travel agents in this area. It costs around 250-300 THB. And may be include ferry crossing. This is a good choice if you stay in guesthouse at Khao Sarn road.
By Car
There are three ways on road from Bangkok to Trat
Bangna-Trat (Highway No.3) which passing Chon Buri, Rayong and Chanta Buri. The distance is 385 Kilometers long.
Bangna-Chonburi-Klaeng-Chanta Buri (Highway No 344). The distance is 315 Kilometers in length.
The Motorway is another alternative. Starting from Rama IX Road and onto Srinakarin Road, exit after paying the second toll that leads to Ban Bung, Klaeng, Chanta Buri and finally Trat.

Ferry to Koh Chang from Ao thammachart (Trat) to Ao Sapparod (Koh Chang) a ferry depart every 45 minutes. Travel time is about 25 minutes.
