Raglan Backpackers is nestled on the edge of Raglans beautiful harbor, looking out across the water to Mt Karioi. Purposely built for your comfort and security, we are a clean and friendly hostel. All rooms open onto private central courtyard garden. The living room and dining area open onto the grass lawn and the waterfront. We are 1 minutes walk from the bus stop and Raglan's town center with its superb cafes and artisan shops.
We have free kayaks, bikes, golf clubs, fishing rods and a sailing dingy to use.
Full range of surf boards, wet suits, and body boards to rent. Daily beginner surf lessons held all year round. We are surfers so we can offer lots of tips for intermediate and beginner surfers a like. Yoga classes offered, free sauna to use at night.

Relax in a hammock, walk our wild untouched West Coast beach, climb a mountain, kayak amongst the secluded bays and pancake rocks or experience some of the best surf in New Zealand. Do as much as you want, or as little in our special coastal town!
