Pinewood specialises in providing the best value budget accommodation & facilities for individuals, couples, families or larger groups who need their own space. The doubles, twins, triples and dorms rooms all have shared kitchens and bathrooms with other guests in the unit.

The friendly and helpful staff at Pinewood can advise on all the attractions available to you in Queenstown and surrounding areas and can conveniently make all the required bookings on your behalf.

Queenstown, the Adventure Capital of the World, has it all! From skiing and boarding in Winter, bungy jumping, jet boating, parapenting, sailing, white water rafting and 4-wheel driving throughout the entire year, to name just a few. For those who just want to relax, take a leisurely cruise on the lady of the lake, the T.S.S Earnslaw, enjoy a Wine Tour or ride the Gondola to the Skyline where you can go luging with family and friends whilst taking in the spectacular view. For the Lord of the Rings fans, there?s no better place to start your journey into the adventures of Frodo and his friends. By four wheel drive, plane or jet boat, you can experience the depths of Mordor to the forests of Lothlorien and Isengard - visit many of the scenes where the famous trilogy was filmed. Queenstown is also the starting point for many world famous hikes that allow you to explore the great Southern Lakes region.

Reception: Open 7:30am to 9:00pm (seasonal variations)
Sightseeing Reservations: All activities and sightseeing reservations can be made at reception. Ask our friendly staff for advice on local attractions. Discount prices may apply.
Shop: Located at reception with food, drink and all those necessities you may need.
Internet: Email and Internet facilities are available at reception. $3.00 per 15 minutes.
Telephone: Phones are located in the TV Room and some Lounges. Ephone cards can be purchased at reception.
Spa: Spectacular views of the Remarkables Mountains. Book at reception. Hours vary with seasons.
TV Room: Open 24 Hours. Features a TV, fireplace, stereo and a pool table.
Bag & Gear Storage: Bags and gear storage is available at reception. Identification tags are available on request. All care , No responsibility.
Ski and Snowboard Tuning Room: Ski and Snowboard drying and tuning room available in winter months. Open 24 Hours
Linen: Optional made up beds and towels or guests can hire linen. (All Doubles and Twins made up)
Laundries: Automatic laundries complete with washers, dryers, irons and outside clothes lines
Off-Street Parking: There is ample parking available for your vehicle or trailer
Barbeque and Trampoline: Entertain the children while you cook a feast in our beautiful alpine setting.
Checkout Times: Checkout time is 10:00am.

When entering Queenstown from the airport or Cromwell/Wanaka, continue along Frankton Road and into Stanley Street before turning right into Shotover Street. This then becomes Gorge Road; turn left into Robins Road and the right into Hamilton Street. We are located at the end of Hamilton Road.
