Manly Backpackers is the largest and most fun-filled hostel in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The hostel is located in the heart of Manly.
Thinking about an early morning surf, an evening swim, a stroll along Manly's famous promenade walkway along the beach or you need to get to Manly's huge selection of watering holes (pubs)? If you're staying at Manly Backpackers you won't have to walk far. We're located just a couple minutes walk to everything. The beach is just a block away and the Manly Corso (where it all happens) is no more than a few minutes walk. Need to get to the City? No worries...the Manly Wharf is less than five minutes walk too!
Back at home base...you'll love the team that takes care of you (within reason of course). Our staff are the most friendly people you'll find in Manly. Their goal is to make your stay comfortable, convenient and memorable. 48 hours cancellation notice or guests will be charged for the first night.
- Bookings from December 1st to January 7th (High Season): no cancellations allowed (the full amount for the stay will be charged if the booking is cancelled

Sydney Ferries
The easiest way to travel from the city to Manly is by boat. The ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Wharf takes 30 minutes and the Jet Cat 15 minutes. After you get off the ferry, proceed to the pedestrian lights. GO STRAIGHT AHEAD into BELGRAVE ST. Walk 2 sets of lights to find us. It takes about 500 metres. You walk past a park, then a rugby oval & tennis courts on your left. Then, there we are on your RIGHT.

Sydney buses offers transportation in Manly and the whole of Sydney.

CityRail offers an extensive rail network in Sydney. Trains run from the airport to Circular Quay. Then catch a 40 minute ferry ride.
