Visit Kargoolie, prime mining town and entertainment centre. Once you venture from our excellent four star establishment, complete with swimming pool, it may be some time before you find your way back. Take a tour into the Aboriginal outback, then on through a mining facility, hit the town and sample our fourty plus bars and nightclubs before taking our tour of the towns infamous red light district! We also help organise work in the local industries for visitors who need a little extra income. Many guests stay for long stretches of time in our community, having found eymployment in our regions burgeoning workforce.

Golddust Backpackers YHA is a purpose built hostel located 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Friendly relaxed atmosphere with large, clean and spacious living and sleeping areas. There are bikes available to get you around and if you are looking for work, all the help is on hand. Air-conditioned, swimming pool for summer and cosy wood fire for those winter nights.

If you do not hold an annual YHA or Hostelling International membership card when checking in, an introductory membership fee of $3.50 per night per person will be charged.
