Hostel Description
With 173 beds our hostel offers an exclusive range of accommodation right in the heart of Perth.
Our variety of rooms meet all your needs and include 8, 10, 12 and 16 to more private 4 and 6 bed dormitories with full en-suite facilities and fresh linen provided, mixed or females only.
On top of that we present standard single, twin, triple and double rooms with shared or private full en-suite bathrooms. All our rooms are air conditioned and contain a wall mounted television, DVD player, bar fridge and meet hotel standards for fire, safety and hygiene. In every room there are secure lockers available at no extra cost.
The Globe Backpackers & City Oasis offers The Globe Flexi Stay whereby you can leave to do a tour, store your luggage for free and come back for the remaining nights you paid for on a credit voucher.
Our Facilities
The Globe Backpackers & City Oasis Resort has a huge 24/7 fully equipped kitchen with spacious dining area. There?s a free complimentary continental breakfast of a choice of cereals and wheatabix, breads, jams, peanut butter, chocolate paste, vegemite and milk. There?s free coffee and tea available all day and a bowl of rice in the evening.
The hostel boasts two comfortable big screen cinema rooms where you can watch the latest DVD releases and a leisure room with pool table, arcade games and juke-box. During summer you can cool off in our crystal clear swimming pool and unwind around the barbeque area in the courtyard.
The friendly staff at our 24/7 reception is more than happy to help with any enquiries and bookings of tours, trips and airport shuttles or advice on employment. We sell a wide range of beverages, snacks and groceries. There are public pay phones and we sell international phone cards. There?s a free safe to store valuables.
The Globe Internet Café is open 24/7 for fast broadband internet and as a guest you receive an exclusive discount. The Globe Laundromat is just around the corner for your convenience.

The Globe Backpackers & City Oasis is located on 561 Wellington Street, an absolute central location in the city. Northbridge, the main city shopping area and Perth?s dazzling nightlife is on our doorstep!
The central bus and train station are just opposite the hostel. So is the tourist coach stand to pick you up for a tour and the CAT bus stop for free transport throughout the CBD.
You can catch the Perth City Airport Shuttle which drops off and picks up guests 50m from our hostel.
The Barrack Street Jetty is only a 12 minute walk away where you can hop on the ferry to Fremantle, South Perth and Rottnest Island.
