Visiting Adelaide, stay at the beach!!

‘Glenelg Beach Hostel’ provides quality backpacker accommodation at Adelaide's premiere beach. Centrally located in the fun Glenelg Beach area in Adelaide, we are only meters from the beach, many bars, cafes, restaurants, shops, a cinema and museums.

Being very close to transport, a short tram ride takes you into the busy centre of Adelaide featuring the famous central markets, great bands and entertainment, museums and art galleries. We are also an ideal home base while you explore some of Adelaide’s wineries, beaches and the outback!

We are situated in a Heritage building named Alexander Terrace which was built in 1878. We offer dormitory style accommodation and a range of private rooms. All bedrooms are spacious with very comfortable beds with quilts (no bunk beds.) Stay 6 nights in a dorm room and your 7th is FREE! Free continental breakfast and tea/coffee all day is included. We also have a kitchen, internet and tour booking facilities. Check out our newly renovated lounge bar with DJ's, live music and drink specials! Chill out in our TV/DVD room or have a pint in our huge beer garden with BBQ area!

Jump on the Tram at Victoria Square in the heart of Adelaide city. There is only one tram line and it takes you straight to Glenelg. Glenelg is the last stop. It will take 20 min. Once getting off at Glenelg head away from the beach down Jetty Rd and Moseley street is first on your right. We are 1-7 Moseley just off jetty road next to New Zealand Ice cream.
Catch the J1 shuttlebus from the airport, which will bring you directly to our hostel for a few dollars. See you there!!
