Our hostel is relaxed and comfortable, with friendly local staff who go out of their way to make your trip even more enjoyable. It is located in the vibrant inner city suburb of Glebe, famous for its trendy cafes, local bars and quality restaurants. Darling Harbour and the city are just a short walk, making it a great base away from the noisy hustle and bustle of Sydney.

The large rooftop with great city views, BBQ area & sun lounges is a great place to unwind and meet your fellow travelers. Enjoy the big TV/movie room and games area with pool table. Feast in our fully-equipped self-catering kitchen and dining room. Stay in touch with fast web access at our internet cafe, or check our well-established jobs board and car sales/notice board.

We also have a day tour desk with heaps of information on what to see or do in and around Sydney. Just ask our staff who know all about the area and will be happy to help you choose and book the right activity to suit you.

As part of the Hostelling International (HI) network, all rates quoted are for YHA or HI members. Non-members are charged an extra $3.50 per person per night upon check-in or may purchase a full HI membership for $37 (valid around the world for 1 year).

Transport into Glebe is readily available from the international and domestic terminals at Sydney airport and from Central train station.

From the Airport:
If arriving at Terminal 1 (the International Airport), we recommend using the 'Airport Connect' shuttle service which costs $12 per person (payable at hostel reception) and operates between 7 am and 8 pm. To arrange a pickup you must ring 1800 067 715.
If arriving at Terminals 2 or 3 (the Domestic Airport), the 'Airport Connect' pickup point is located on the roadway between the two terminals. This service operates approximately every 20 minutes between 7 am and 8 pm. Call 1800 067 715 to arrange pickup.
A taxi from the airport will generally cost between $30-$45 dollars depending on traffic and time of day. Request driver goes via Newtown and not Cross City Tunnel as this will add substantial cost to your trip.

From Central Station:
Bus: Catch bus 431 or 434 from George Street to the hostel front door. Or take bus 432 or 433 from George Street to Wigram Road and walk along Glebe Point Road 200 metres to the hostel.
Train: Take light rail from station to Jubilee Park Station, less than 5 minute walk to YHA.
