Paul the owner is fully knowledgeable in all the great local attractions - especially those that are best for the budget traveller. Ask him about local tramping (hiking), cycling, caving, rock-climbing and kayaking.

He'll try his best to find what will make your stay in Golden Bay the most enjoyable. He will even recommend one of the other great backpackers in Golden Bay if that's what fits you better.

From town centre, travel north passing the banks, post office and museum. Keep walking past the video store and laundromat until you see the Golden Bay Motels. Turn right before the motel onto Hiawatha Lane. The first house on the left is the Gazebo Backpackers.
