?Boomerang Backpackers? is one of Central Sydney's, purpose built hostels offering safe and secure, quality accommodation at a very competitive price. Our location is the best in Sydney. We are only a 7 minute walk to the centre, a 15 minute walk to the Opera House and a 3 minute walk to Kings Cross - the place to visit some of Sydney's best bars and nightclubs - as well as a train station and large supermarket. We are the closest hostel to Sydney's Hard Rock Café - a must for any visit to Sydney! Stay at this great location and save money as you will have no need to spend money on public transport.

Please note:
The hostel reception is closed from midday to 16:00 p.m. daily. If you are arriving between 12:00 p.m. and 16:00 p.m. you will need to contact Boomerang directly so that they can arrange to be there to let you in. Reception close at 21:00 p.m. after this time check-in is not possible.

Boomerang offers a free breakfast daily consisting of cornflakes, toast, jams and marmalade, tea etc. We offer free pick-up service from Sydney's airport and central bus and train station (see special conditions).

Our hostel complex includes 24 hour mini-supermarket - cash machine - safety deposit boxes - laundry facilities - cable TV room great for watching all sports events including English football matches - STD/IDD phone and fax - rooftop BBQ and sun deck with amazing views of the Sydney's Harbor Bridge and city skyline.

Our rooms consist of 4-bed, 6-bed, 8-bed and 10-14 bed dorms and girls? only dorms as well as twin, triple and double rooms all of which come with a color TV and most with a fridge.

Please note: our double/twin en-suite rooms are located at our other hostel Ambassador 5 minutes walk away in Kings Cross. There is also a well equipped kitchen with a gas oven, microwaves, gas rings, fridges, cutlery pots and pans etc.

We have very friendly and efficient staff that can help with information on the sights and places to visit in Sydney. We also have a jobs board for those who need to make a bit of money and free video/DVD nights if you feel like staying in.

General information:

The balance is payable on arrival in full.
Bookings are transferable with sufficient notice (5 days or more)

All guests must observe the rules and regulations of our hostels.
It is recommended that guests do not leave their valuables or cash in their rooms.
Valuables may be stored in the Hostel safes. The Hostels is not responsible for theft or lost of guest property or any injuries caused to guests or friends of guest.
All guests are advised to take out their own personal and travel insurance.

Arrival and check-out times:
The hostel offices are open for check-in from 7:30 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. and from 16:30 p.m. to 21:30 p.m.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Cancellations:

If you would like to make any changes in your booking please contact us, we will try to help you.

Any cancellation made within a week prior to stay commencement will result in the fee equal to 1 night's rate per person.
Any cancellation made within 24 hours prior to stay commencement will result in the fee equal to 2 nights rate or one night's rate in case the reservation is for one night only, per person.
We reserve the right to charge full amount in case there is no cancellation notification received from the guest.

Our reception desk closes at 21:30 p.m. Failure to arrive before this time will result in you being charged for the nights accommodation.

Credit cards incur an extra 4% charge for payment on arrival.

A valid credit card (either Visa or MasterCard) must be used for the booking and must not expire before you arrive. The card must be in the name of the person making the booking. Debit and switch cards are not accepted.

Free pick-up from the airport is only available when you have booked for 2 or more nights.

Christmas

A minimum stay of 4 nights is required over this period, from 23rd December '07 to 27th December 07

We require payment prior to your arrival; therefore your credit card will be debited the full amount due on 1st December '07.

New Year
----------
A minimum stay of 7 nights is required over this period, from 28th December '07 to 4th January '08.

We require payment prior to your arrival; therefore your credit card will be debited the full amount due on 1st December '07.

A 28 day notice of cancellation or changes to your booking is required for all bookings from 22 December to 4th January 08. Full payment will be taken for these bookings on 1st December 07 and no refunds will be given if you cancel or change your plans.

Please note there is NO FREE PICKUP between 25th December 07 to 3rd January 08

We are on the corner of William & Bourke streets, half way between Hyde Park & Kingscross.
Closest train station is Kings Cross, just exit station and walk towards the Coke Cola sign, then walk down the hill on the left handside towards the city and you will find us at 141 William St.
From airport or bus station please call us after booking.
