Base Auckland is a funky purpose built hostel located in the heart of Auckland, just minutes walk to everywhere you want to be. The airbus departs from the airport?s International and Domestic Terminals every 20 minutes and will drop you right outside our door. The hostel has 382 beds ranging from multi-share rooms to doubles and twins with en-suite facilities and Sky TV. Exclusive only to base, the up market, luxury Sanctuary floor is for girls only. The on-site café offers fresh, healthy breakfasts & a delicious dinner menu. Other facilities include a spa and sauna on the rooftop with panoramic views from the modern, communal kitchen. Getting To Base Auckland
The Airbus departs from the International and Domestic Terminals every 20 minutes and will drop you outside our door. Show your backpacker card for a discount. The super shuttle leaves from both terminals and drops you outside our door and is a better option for groups as the more people the cheaper the deal!

Alternatively
If driving from the airport follow the South Western Motorway to the end then continue straight until Hayr Road on the right that leads onto Mount Eden Road. Follow Mount Eden Road for 20 minutes then take a right onto Symonds Street, first left onto Karangahape (K) Road and first right onto Queen Street. Follow the street until the last street on right. You are now on Fort Street and we are on the left hand side
