We are located close to Cataract Gorge, shopping city, pubs and nightlife, Sunday market, Boags brewery, Queen Victoria museum, York Park stadium, Inveresk rail yards museum and art gallery, city park, the Japanese monkey enclosure and 300 metres to Coles supermarket!! We are within walking distance from nearly everything being part of the CBD.

We have bunks, doubles, singles and twin rooms as well as low cost 4 and 6 bedded shared dorms.

We have a licensed gelato bar, cafe, public telephone, high speed internet access, super large kitchen, dining and lounge facilities, TV, pool table, on site laundry and male and female bathrooms!

There are pizza party nights Friday and Saturday!

Overland track:
Come and chat to our friendly staff who can help you with your local travel plans, car hire or overland track information, (overland track requires a booking from November 2005 and a fee of $100 to the government.)

You can have a free night?s accommodation if you book a 3 day or more Tassie tour with us. We can book with all tour companies!

Walk down Tamar Street till you get to the bridge. We are right on the corner. You really can't miss Tamar Street, head east on just about any CBD street towards City Park and you will cross Tamar.
