Hostel Description
Adelaide's most popular hostel is a beautiful, 137 year old building that has a warm, friendly mix of old world charm and modern funky vibes located on the Paris end of town just 3 blocks from the GPO City Center.
All rooms are large with high ceilings and most rooms have en'suite bathrooms, some with baths. All rooms have televisions and are air conditioned and heated for your comfort. Dorms are roomy and spacious with new inner sprung mattresses and bedding supplied. The doubles/twins are boutique hotel standard with king size beds, fresh towels, linen, pillows and duvets provided.
Reception is open from 7am until 9pm and the in-house travel agency boasts some of the best travel deals in town, including a five day Adelaide to Alice Springs with Ayers Rock Package for only $415 which can only be booked at this hostel.
Free Breakfast is provided every morning in the beautiful, rustic kitchen which is accessible 24 hours a day, and opens to a courtyard which becomes the social hub of this friendly place. Solo travelers especially will find Annie's Place the easiest place to meet other like minded travelers.

Being a 137 years old the rooms are gorgeous. Smooth brick walls leading up to big high ceilings. Each room has individual features such as room 5 with its rustic window and fireplace, rooms 2, 14, and 15 boasts polished floorboards , room 12 has the stained glass butterfly window in the bathroom, rooms 9,12,13, and 14 bathrooms have a bath with full length mirror. Love it - you will.
They are all air-conditioned and heated for comfort, all have televisions, and each room boasts coded doors means greater security for you without the hassle of key deposit. Nice.
Dorm Beds
The dorms are 4 bed or 6 bed with one 10 bed for tour groups. Some are en-suited but otherwise the bathroom is next door. All mattresses are new, and full bedding is included including Donnas. The rooms are large so there is somewhere to play with your pack.

Today more couples are choosing hostels over motels. But they still want a nice room. With that in mind when we renovated we put in brand new
En-suited bathrooms. These are all beautiful, and half have baths. It makes our doubles something special.
All the beds are new in 2004 some are king size, All have all bed side lamps, remote control televisions, and bedding is included which is towels, cozy Donnas, and percale sheets.

Hostel Directions
Our Adelaide hostel is situated in the west end of town. The Famous Paris End. One traffic light from the central Bus station. Two streets south is the central market and Gouger Street (the Cappuccino strip). Three streets north is Hindley Street, where for the party goers there is EVERYTHING!
