AAA. Ambassador is a comfortable hotel looking after backpackers. We have en-suite accommodation (bathrooms in the bedroom) close to the heart of Central Sydney which is only a 15 minute walk to the city centre and a 15 minute walk to the Opera House.

Free airport and bus/ train station pickup is available. (See special conditions)
A Free Breakfast is available every morning and free beer vouchers are available for the newly arrived. All the best clubs and pubs are just a stones throw away from our hotel.

A well equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils and crockery provided with 2 ovens and a microwave. We have a rooftop with views of the city centre in the background.

4 bed shared rooms are very spacious, great for booking a private room with your best buddies.

All regular double bedrooms come equipped with TVs, fridges, balconies and attached bathrooms. All beds include linen and pillows with towels available on request.

We also have budget doubles and twins these are cheap but don't come with any luxuries.

We are located next to all the major banks and currency exchange centers and a 24-hour McDonalds and other fast food restaurants are located nearby.

Nearby parking and the Backpacker Car market is a few minutes walk away. Ideal for those wanting to buy or sell a car or campervan

Bookings are transferable with sufficient notice (5 days or more)

All guests must observe the rules and regulations of our hostels.
It is recommended that guests do not leave their valuables or cash in their rooms.
Valuables may be stored in the Hostel safes. The Hostels is not responsible for theft or lost of guest property or any injuries caused to guests or friends of guest.
All guests are advised to take out their own personal and travel insurance.

Arrival and check-out times:
The hostel offices are open for check-in from 8.00 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. and from 16:30 p.m. to 19:00 p.m.
Check-in must be before 9.00pm , after this time Reception is closed until 8am the next morning.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Cancellations:

If you would like to make any changes in your booking please contact us, we will try to help you.
All cancellations have to be in writing and e-mailed to us at our email address that will be provided after booking
Any cancellation made within a week prior to stay commencement will result in the fee equal to 1 night's rate per person.
Any cancellation made within 24 hours prior to stay commencement will result in the fee equal to 2 nights rate or one night's rate in case the reservation is for one night only, per person.
We reserve the right to charge full amount in case there is no cancellation notification received from the guest.


Our reception desk closes at 21:00 p.m. Failure to arrive before this time will result in you being charged for the nights accommodation.

Credit cards incur an extra 4% charge for payment on arrival.

A valid credit card (either Visa or Mastercard) must be used for the booking and must not expire before you arrive. The card must be in the name of the person making the booking. Debit and switch cards are not accepted.

Free pick-up from the airport is only available when you have booked for 2 or more nights.

A minimum stay of 4 nights is required over this period, from 23rd December '07 to 27th December 07

We require payment prior to your arrival; therefore your credit card will be debited the full amount due on 1st December '07.

New Year
----------
A Minimum stay of 7 nights is required over this period, from 28th December '07 to 4th January '08.

We require payment prior to your arrival; therefore your credit card will be debited the full amount due on 1st December '07.

A 28 day notice of cancellation or changes to your booking is required for all bookings from 22 December to 4th January 08. Full payment will be taken for these bookings on 1st December 07 and no refunds will be given if you cancel or change your plans.

We are located at 15 Earl Place, this is nearly behind Kingscross Mcdonalds. We are 100m from Kingscross train station, exit onto Victoria Street and walk down Earl Place street opposite Holiday Inn. Free Airport and Bus Station pickup is available between 7am & 7.30Pm, a minimum of 2 nights accommodation is required for this service.
