Opened in December 2006, 1770 Southern Cross is a purpose built eco-friendly hostel located on a tranquil 14 acre block only minutes from the town centre & beautiful beaches of Agnes Water. Family owned & operated, we pride ourselves on offering our guests first-rate & friendly service, a clean & luxurious environment & a holiday filled with unforgettable experiences and memories!

Hostel Directions
Agnes Water/1770 is just over 1 hour North of Bundaberg. The must stop hot spot between Fraser Island and Airlie Beach.
Souther Cross is located on the main road heading into the Agnes Water township. The first driveway on the right just past the medical centre. - 2694 Round HIll Rd, Agnes Water
Coming in by bus? Greyhound busses include a free shuttle service from Fingerboard Rd to Agnes Water and this shuttle will drop you directly at our hostel. Premier passengers will need to pay an extra $15 for the shuttle bus (arriving at 12.10am and 2.10am) and we do except these late check-ins.
